Mosaic

College baseball recruiting

Know where you fit before you commit.

Mosaic scores every college in reach against your player: the roster, the academics, the cost, and the place. One number per school, backed by public data, so your family chooses with facts instead of a logo.

Built on College Scorecard, IPEDS, and the rosters schools publish.

How it works

  1. 1

    Build the profile

Position, grad year, grades, showcase numbers, and what matters to your family: distance, cost, size, major, campus life.

  2. 2

    Set what matters

Weight the factors your way. A family that cares about cost and distance gets a different list than one that cares about division and major.

  3. 3

    Get the ranked list

Every school in scope gets a fit score, a playability read of the current roster, and a tier. Open the report, save the targets, and bring the list to your advisor or your coach.

Twelve factors, one score

Each school is scored on 12 factors. The tiles show which ones carry the number.

Baseball

PlayabilityLevel

Playability reads the current roster at your position and class year. Level compares the program to your BestFit tier.

Academics

AcademicsMajor

Admission data from the school against your grades, and whether the school offers your major.

Cost

Cost

Net price by your family's income band, from the Department of Education, not the sticker price.

DistanceSizeSettingClimate

How far from home, how big, city or town, and what the winters are like.

Campus life

DiningHousingReligion

Dining, housing, and religious affiliation, scored only when your family says they matter.

Where the data comes from

Public data, shown in full

No sales call, no hidden method. Every number on a report traces back to a source you can check.

College Scorecard and IPEDS

Enrollment, admission rate, net price by income, majors, campus setting, from the US Department of Education.

School rosters

The roster each athletic department publishes, read on a schedule, with the date it was last checked.

Your profile

Grades, position, class year, and showcase numbers you enter. Nothing is scraped from your player.

Questions families ask

Is Mosaic a recruiting service?

No. Mosaic does not contact coaches for you and does not sell camp invitations. It gives your family a ranked list and the reasoning, and you run your own outreach.

Do college coaches see my player's profile?

No. Your profile and reports are private to your account and the advisor you link.

What does the fit score mean?

It is a 0 to 100 score built from 12 factors, each weighted by what your family says matters. 80 and above is an A. The report shows every factor, so you can see why a school scored the way it did.

What is playability?

A read of the current roster at your position and class year. Open means a spot is likely. Competitive means there is depth. The roster date is shown on every school.

Which schools are covered?

NCAA Division I, II, and III, NAIA, and junior colleges in the Mid-Atlantic today, with more regions added as rosters are verified. The data sources page lists the current count.
